That memorable day over two years ago had started like any other Sunday morning, that is, until I discovered Boquet?s back feet were paralyzed. 
"And He (Jesus Christ) is the image of the invisible God, the first-born of all creation. For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions, rulers or authorities - all things have been created by Him and for Him. Writing to Encourage is a way to share some of my stories and essays with others. My goal is to encourage and inspire you, while giving glory to the Lord, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.
In a world that wants God out of school, out of government, out of our lives, I want to declare the truth so that it doesn't become totally lost or forgotten.
Story Excerpts:
Dark storm clouds swept across the sky, blotting out the glistening sunlight. The howling wind shook the sleepy waves awake, arousing their fury. Like a rabid dog, the waves foamed and lunged at any and everything. There was no way for Dennis and Larry to escape its grip. Their small fishing boat no longer offered protection as the waves tossed them about as if they were a toy. Dennis called out anxiously to his friend, ?What are we going to do, Larry? The boat is filling up with water!" Dennis gripped his seat tighter. "What if we sink? How will we get back to shore?" Dennis screamed above the pounding waves. "What if there?s sharks in here??
When we cherish someone, it enables us to see their need. As a result, the compassion we feel for them empowers us to help them. Then, we are both encouraged and empowered to overcome obstacles so that we can be a neighbor to those around us.
